Flydigi Vader 5S – Xbox-Licensed Wired Controller
The Flydigi Vader 5S is an officially Xbox-licensed wired gaming controller built for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC. It combines FORCEFLEX Hall Effect joysticks, adjustable stick tension, dual-mode FORCESWITCH triggers, mechanical ABXY buttons, six remappable extra buttons, and four-motor vibration. With its wired connection and included 3-meter cable, the Vader 5S is designed for gamers who want detailed control without relying on a wireless battery.
Official Xbox-Licensed Compatibility
The Flydigi Vader 5S is officially licensed by Xbox and works with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Its physical Xbox button provides native console functionality, while the wired connection keeps setup simple without requiring an adapter or wireless receiver.
FORCEFLEX Hall Effect Joysticks
The Vader 5S features FORCEFLEX Hall Effect joysticks designed for accurate centering and reduced wear. Flydigi states that the sticks maintain true-center positioning and zero dead zone, with the FORCEFLEX design rated for more than 10 million cycles.
Adjustable Stick Tension Ring
One of the standout features of the Flydigi Vader 5S is its adjustable stick tension ring. You can physically adjust resistance from 40gf to 100gf, giving you more freedom to choose how the joysticks feel.
A lighter setting can suit quick movements and flicks, while higher resistance can provide a firmer feel for controlled tracking and movement.
FORCESWITCH Dual-Mode Triggers
The Vader 5S uses FORCESWITCH triggers with two selectable modes. Linear mode uses Hall Effect sensing with 256 levels for smooth analog input, making it suitable for racing and driving games. Micro-switch mode provides a clicky feel with shorter, faster actuation for games where quick trigger presses are preferred. The mode can be changed using the physical switch without going through software menus.
Mechanical ABXY Buttons
The ABXY buttons use mechanical micro-switches instead of traditional rubber-dome buttons. This provides a more defined click and consistent button feedback, making them suitable for repeated inputs during competitive and action-heavy gaming.
Rotary-Pivoted D-Pad 2.0
The Rotary-Pivoted D-Pad 2.0 is designed for precise directional inputs. Its layout makes it useful for fighting games, platformers, menu navigation, and games that require frequent diagonal or directional commands.
6 Remappable Extra Buttons and 4 Profiles
The Flydigi Vader 5S provides six additional remappable buttons:
- 2 rear buttons: M1 and M2
- 2 extra shoulder bumpers: LM and RM
- 2 Flydigi C and Z face buttons
You can customize these controls for different games and playstyles. The controller also supports four profiles, allowing you to save different button configurations and switch between them when needed.
Xbox-Native 4-Motor Vibration
Four vibration motors provide feedback through the grips and triggers. The Vader 5S also allows vibration intensity to be adjusted across 11 levels, giving you control over how strong the feedback feels during gameplay.
RGB Lighting and 3.5mm Audio
The controller features a customizable RGB light strip for added visual personalization. It also includes a 3.5mm audio jack for compatible wired headsets, along with microphone support and convenient audio controls.
Wired Connection with 3-Meter Cable
The Flydigi Vader 5S is a wired-only controller, so there is no internal battery to charge or replace. It comes with a 3-meter cable, providing additional flexibility for console gaming from a couch or desk. The wired design also provides a direct connection between the controller and your gaming device.
Flydigi Space Station for Xbox
The Vader 5S is supported by Flydigi Space Station for Xbox. The software provides controller customization and management features, including button remapping, profile configuration, trigger and stick settings, and firmware updates. Flydigi currently lists a dedicated Space Station version supporting the Vader 5S.

How to Choose a Flydigi Controller
When choosing a Flydigi controller, focus on the features that match the games and platform you use.For PC and multi-platform gaming
Look for a controller with the connection modes you need. Models with 2.4GHz, Bluetooth and wired connectivity provide more flexibility than a controller limited to a single connection method. For competitive gaming
Pay attention to polling rate, joystick technology, trigger design and additional programmable controls. Models such as the Direwolf 4 and Vader 5 Pro offer features aimed at users who want more control over input and response. For FPS games
Hall Effect joysticks, adjustable stick tension, configurable triggers and additional rear buttons can be useful features to compare when choosing a controller for shooters. For racing games
Trigger behavior and joystick resistance become particularly important. Adjustable controls can allow the controller to be configured differently for acceleration, steering and other inputs. For casual gaming
A simpler wireless controller may be enough if you mainly want comfortable gamepad controls without needing extensive customization.Flydigi Laptop Cooling Pads
Gaming laptops can generate considerable heat during demanding workloads. A cooling pad adds an external airflow source beneath the laptop and can also raise the device for a more comfortable viewing position.Flydigi's BS-series cooling pads include different levels of cooling performance and control. The BS2, for example, uses an 18-blade fan with a maximum speed of 3000 RPM and supports multiple operating modes. It is designed for laptops from 15.6 to 21 inches. The BS2 Pro moves to a higher-performance design with a closed-turbine cooling system, up to 4000 RPM in its highest mode, multiple fan modes and RGB lighting. It is designed for larger laptops up to 21 inches. When choosing a cooling pad, check the dimensions of your laptop first rather than selecting a model only based on its fan speed.Flydigi for Mobile Gaming
Mobile gamers have different requirements from PC players. Touchscreen accessories such as finger sleeves can be useful for players who want smoother finger movement across the display. The P1 Lite Silver-Cloth Finger Sleeve is listed in the Rapido Tech Nepal Flydigi catalog and is specifically positioned for mobile gaming. For mobile gamers, the most important considerations are touch feel, fit, breathability and whether the accessory interferes with normal touchscreen operation.About Flydigi
